I submitted my application and resume via Uber ' s website and within a week or so they contacted me back with a creative homework assignment that had to be completed within 48 hours. The homework was rather lengthy but due to the fact that the job is primarily email communication with customers and colleagues, this is their way of gauging your writing skills as well as some basic essential knowledge of the company. 4 days after submitting my homework, I received an email from Uber HR to schedule a Skype interview. 2 days later was my interview and it was no more than 20 minutes. The community operations manager was based out of SF while I am in Houston. She was a very casual woman with basic customer service questions and it was very easy for the most part. She offered me the position right there and then and I'm contracted for 3 months with them which is quite fine and ideal for me. I am hoping I can get an extension if need be.

There were two interviews with senior management and they were very nice and the questions were not overly difficult. The whole process took around 2 weeks so it was quite quick.
