J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Uber
Entretien
When I initially applied at Uber, I was really excited. Even more so when the recruiter got back to me quickly to set up a phone interview.
However, after reading all of the reviews of the interview process here I became a little skeptical. Regardless, I prepared for the phone screening and had a nice conversation with one of the recruiters. She was cordial and enjoyable to talk to. No problem there. But I didn't feel like I really did as well as I would have liked in the interview and, after having done some due diligence on Uber and the caliber of employees they have and are looking for, don't really feel like I warranted a second interview.
Surprisingly (or not), the recruiter suggested I move forward with the Community Manager Creative Assignment. It's pretty extensive (you can find the questions online if you google around a bit) and you can see why they would want you to complete it. I'm not opposed to the use of assignments during the interview process, but I was already skeptical of Uber's hiring practices so I ultimately (for a few different reasons) decided to excuse myself from the opportunity (without completing the assignment).
I emailed the recruiter and politely informed her that I wouldn't be moving forward in the process. I never heard back from her at all and that was it.
