      Entretien pour Internal Transfer Manager

      Candidature

Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Uber

      Entretien

I was a passive candidate that was reached out to via my corporate email. I went through 2 rounds of interviews then asked to do an exercise that was clearly idea farming. I didn't make the exercise too specific, as I had a sinking feeling that Uber wanted proprietary information about my existing company's program (Uber currently does not have this sort of program in place). After several delays and missed deadlines as to when I would receive an answer on next steps, I was sent an impersonal rejection via Uber's ATS. As a passive candidate that wasn't looking for a role, I was really disappointed by how my candidacy was handled, not that I was rejected in the process. I wasn't looking for a new role. The business interview had no idea that I hadn't applied and asked questions about why I had applied and didn't bother to answer my follow up questions. When there was a delay in the process, I mostly knew about the delay through the lack of communication from the recruiter, not from the recruiter proactively communicating with me. I know that they are a start-up, but I have worked at plenty of start-ups with MUCH better recruiting teams/processes. I definitely have no interest in working there now.
