I recently had an interview with ust for test engineer position. Overall, I would say that the experience was average. The recruiter who contacted me to set up the interview was friendly and professional, and provided me with all the necessary information about the role and the company. The interview itself was conducted over the phone with one of the hiring managers. While the interviewer was friendly and easy to talk to, I felt that the questions were fairly standard and didn't provide much opportunity for me to showcase my skills or experience. It was mostly a series of behavioral questions about how I handle certain situations in the workplace. I also felt that the interviewer was more focused on finding out whether I was a good "cultural fit" for the company, rather than evaluating my qualifications for the role. While I understand that culture fit is important, I would have appreciated more questions about my experience and how it relates to the specific job requirements. Overall, I would say that the interview experience was average. While I didn't feel particularly excited about the role or the company after the interview, I also didn't have any major concerns or red flags. I'm still interested in the position, but I'll also continue to explore other opportunities.
