They bring a mass amount of individuals in. Have a brief overview of the job position, make you fill out some forms. You are then called in one at a time, based on the order you arrived, so arrive early to get out early. Worst part is the wait, very easy process. Unfortunately, in the Philadelphia market, when you are initially hired, they only guarantee you 1 day per week, but expect you to be on call 7 days per week. No wonder you are always looking for employees, what kind of quality workers do you expect to get when you don't hire full time. I had mixed feelings about snail mail and the post office before this experience, I have recently changed everything I can to paperless. Good luck with your part time welfare workers. Anyone willing to take a job that only guarantees once a week, probably is not going to last too long. Revolving door of employees.

Question 1
My one on one "interview" was more like a 10 minute chat session. The guy saw my score, and my background and really we just chatted about the opportunity.
I never had an interview I went to get my fingerprints done and they informed me that someone would get back to me to schedule me for academy. Academy lasted one week and was largely useless.

The interview was very short, not really much of an interview at all, actually. Moreso just to check if I had a pulse and was breathing. I could tell it was just to get a body in the room.

It was an easy one on one interview. Asked basic questions. Will use scare tactics on you during interview. Post Master was really nice but i felt like it was just a facade. All in all, it was a very very good experience.
