It was supposed to be a 5-step interview process, but it ended up being more because they were so unorganized. Every interviewer was late by at least 10 minutes, and there were multiple times when the interviewer simply didn't show up. I did make it through each round of interviews and received positive feedback from each person. We discussed salary and a start date, and I was told I had just one more interview to complete - one that had been scheduled 3 times and the interviewer never showed. Ultimately, I was ghosted by the recruiter and the head of HR. I ended up sending a follow up email to someone I had interviewed with, who was not involved with the hiring decision for this position, and was told they hired internally. A quick check of LinkedIn revealed that it was a lie.
