In January 2019, I received a call to schedule an interview with the US Census Bureau. I chose a time and drove 45 minutes to make it to the interview place on time.
First, the interviewer continually mispronounced my name. Second, I was told that I would not have as much time as other interviewees because they needed to get back on schedule. So, I did the best I could with the time I was allotted and I was told I would hear from them either way in a week.
Not only was I NEVER contacted, I found out that the interviewer used my contact information for my current job to get himself a presentation scheduled.
If that's the way this organization operates, I'm glad I wasn't offered a job.

The interview process was short and easy. The hiring process was also quick. It took a few months after I applied to be contacted to be interviewed. Very simple process.

1 hour phone interview - fair questions and considerate interviewers
Quick turn around time from interview to job offer
Recommend to ask the interviewers questions at the end to get a better sense of the work before accepting the position, since this job is home-based. In addition, make sure you are able to find a comfortable and quiet space to use for the interview.
Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Easy and basic questions about experience and mock interview of potential partnership. Revived offer and any questions were answered. Lots of training involved but happy to not just be thrown out there so learn alone. Background check and stuff to come. Should hear from HR tomorrow he said.
