Four rounds of interviews. Mix between technical and behavioral. Overall, it is what you expect with investment banking interviews. Make sure you brush up on the basics and are able to talk well about yourself and your experience.

First Interview: Spoke with an Analyst. It was a great conversation, with a mix of basic technical questions. Second Interview: Another Analyst interview. This conversation was excellent—I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him. He was personable, professional, and insightful. Third Interview: This was with the MD/CCO. Unfortunately, this interaction left a negative impression. I now understand why some reviews mention concerns about senior management’s demeanor. While the earlier interactions were positive, the behavior in this round was disappointing and felt unnecessarily arrogant. It’s a shame, as the rest of the team seemed approachable and professional.
