I feel lied to by the original person who interviewed me to join. very, very easy to pass if you’re calm, relatively healthy and active. They’ll ask why you want to be an officer and may ask some specific questions on a resume if you take one

Not applicable, because its the Army. There are no interviews. I was promoted and selected for this position by my organizational leadership, almost an automatic selection, although some officers are just not great and never make it to XO.

Asked when I was available, asked if I wanted the job, and asked me to describe my previous jobs in the Army. The General then also asked me what I thought about what was going on in Iraq at the current time and asked me if I knew about anything that his specific unit was doing.
