Was selected for the position based of previous experience and rank at the current time. I was in the process of relocating from an overseas assignment, and called the CMSgt in charge at Moody once I found out that I had an assignment there.

Must achieve the rank of Master Sergeant to be eligible for this job. Typically, the member must be in a relevant aircraft maintenance field for at least 10 years and is thoroughly vetted by unit leaders, then recommended to the Commander.
