There is no interview process. You are selected for the job from all of the colonels in the Air Force. Usually in between command assignments or for colonels on there way out. I had no choice of taking the job. Take it or retire in seven days. That is the military way.

Random questions from hiring authority. There is no set standard for interviewing. In fact, the hiring authority can choose to just pick a candidate from a list of applicants who.made it through the automated part of the process. The good part is when you are the hiring authority you will have complete discretion on how to handle it.
