if you want to join the AF you cannot have any of the following
1. any type of criminal record
2. if your single you can have no kids
3. complete high school as GED will not get you in these days as they can find more than enough that have a diploma

This is where you get to state if you have anything that would prevent you from doing your duty within the Air Force. If you have any medical issues or criminal record then you will not get in right now as they are downsizing and they can be picky.
