Hiring manager was still giving off a “found my hire” vibe. Director was hard to read and mainly listened not adding much to the conversation. Upon further reflection, I think I was interviewed as an older woman that checked the “I have a disability “ box - three criteria that meet HR metrics.

One phone interview and one in-person interview both with hiring manager and second with CFO. The first consisted of a lot of questions to see if you had prior experience in what the job duties entailed and the second gave a very good idea of what the experience there would be like.

Was contacted by the hiring manager himself. Had a phone interview that lasted 45 minutes with two interviewers. Was then asked in for an in-person interview with the same people. This lasted about 30 minutes. Felt confident about my chances, but was contacted by the hiring manager two weeks later with the rejection. Did appreciate the direct correspondence.
