great interview process very professional, there was about 3 rounds all with different people. Overall learned a lot during the interview process and gaged alot about what the job entails

I was referred to UNFI by a current employee after hearing how wonderful the company was to their team members. I completed two interviews for two different procurement teams. Throughout the process, I was under the impression that both interviews had gone well. The first team manager connected with me after the first team interview was completed; she said that she had no constructive feedback to give me on my interview, and although I was considered a "frontrunner" for their team, they ultimately filled the position with an internal candidate/someone with "more experience". She was kind enough to refer me to a second procurement team in need, saying that I was considered one of their top interviewing candidates. After the second interview, which I also believed had gone well, I followed up with the recruiter whom I had been in contact with throughout the interview process. I never heard back from the recruiter after inquiring about the result of the second interview. Although I understand how busy the recruitment process may be, and I can certainly understand not being selected for a position in lieu of a more qualified candidate, to ghost an interviewee after two separate team interviews is extremely disrespectful.
