Hiring Manager interview – Interview with the manager I would report to with a heavy focus on your previous team leadership, engineering strategy, execution, and some technical depth as applicable, including process development experience. Team interview round – Peers, other senior leaders or directors. Included: Some Behavioral/situational questions(leadership, culture fit) with examples. Final check with hiring manager – closing any open concerns from the process. Offer & negotiation – HR/recruiter extended an offer, negotiate compensation, confirm start date. † Timeframe – Took a long time, around 5-6 weeks.
