      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez UGI Utilities (Denver, PA) en sept. 2025

      Entretien

The interview process overall was fine. The recruiter actually reached out to me directly on LinkedIn about this role. At first I was hesitant because it was a bit of a drive to the office in Denver from where I live, but I was willing to at least hear about the role and the company with the recruiter. The phone interview was scheduled and when the day arrived for us to speak, I was really excited. This role seemed like a perfect fit for me. At one point she made a comment along the lines of, "Are you sure you're not reading my notes on my screen for this position?! You check almost every box we're looking for!" And that of course, got me super excited. We ended the call by the recruiter telling me she is going to send my resume and her notes from the phone interview over to the HR Director and the SR. HR Manager. Before we hung up, she wanted to schedule my in-person interview for the following week which I was unsure about doing since the hiring managers didn't see my resume or her notes yet, but I just assumed that was their process. The day of my interview came and I was so excited. I walked into the Denver office and was amazed! It's so clean and welcoming. It felt more like a campus than a corporate office. Everyone I spoke to prior to meeting with the hiring manager that day was very friendly. I felt really confident walking in the door. I waited about 8 minutes in the lobby and the HR Director came down and walked me upstairs to his office. We had a great conversation and he asked great questions. I left my interview with him feeling very confident. After my interview with the HR Director, I had a second interview with the Sr. HR Manager. The HR Director walked me over to her office and I was with her for about 45 minutes. She asked the same questions that I was asked before and I answered them the same exact way. I didn't leave my interview with her feeling as confident as I did when I left the interview with the HR Director but I figured it was because I was nervous. After speaking with her, she walked me down to the lobby and off I went. I left feeling so energized and really great about the company and the Sr. HR Coordinator role. My recruiter told me to plan to be on-site for an hour. Well, I was there for over two! I had such great conversations with both of them that I figured staying on-site for double the amount of time was a good sign, right?! Well, I sure was wrong. It was a Saturday morning and I was minding my business in the aisle at Target when all of a sudden I got an email notification! My heart dropped. It was the classic automated reject email. I couldn't believe it. I mean, after not hearing back from the recruiter the day after I interviewed, I figured I wasn't going to get the job - but I still had a tiny bit of hope. And to get that email on a Saturday?! Weekend = ruined. The recruiter I worked with did not do a great job at responding back to me. I'm sure she is very busy trying to hit metrics and fill other roles, but I couldn't understand why she went out of her way to reach out to me about this position, just to ghost me in the end. All in all, I'm really glad I interviewed with UGI but I of course am bummed that I didn't get the job. I would rate my entire experience a 6/10. First conversation with HR Director was a 10/10. Second conversation with SR. HR Manager... 4/10.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Went through my resume, asked me questions about my experience with SuccessFactors, told me about the company, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. I came to my interview prepared with questions and also took notes during the interview. Didn't seem to make a difference LOL.
