The interview started with an introduction. The interviewer even told me that they already have selected someone and just want to see why I am interested in the role given my academic background?! In my opinion it was showing that the interview was not genuine and was conducted for formalities purposes only. They asked me several questions about probability, stochastic process, statistics and option pricing. The interviewer was in rush and was not communicating well and the questions were very perfunctory. At the end the interviewer suggested me some standard text about finance but again could not quit recall the name. It was not a good experience.

Take home exam on data analysis and statistical inference, and then two rounds technical interviews, mostly probability and classical statistics and machine learning. Some simple algorithm questions done verbally too.
First round was panel Interview with 2 people, Ask questions on Statistics and resume. One was the VP of the team and other was regional manager. The Interview was not that difficult. But then I was ghosted. There was no reply from either HR or anyone else, I tried contacting them several times
