Entretien
There is a three part interview process; a phone screening by the branch manager, a in person interview by the branch manager, and another in person interview by the district manager (which has the final say whether you will get the job or not).
The whole process took nearly two months but this is to be expected for a bank. Background checks are more intense than other industries as well as other procedural things like finger printing and a ten year residential address and work verification.
First, I started out with a phone interview with recruiter followed by in person interview with district manager. At the time, there was no assigned branch manager so the standard process may vary from mine.

Why should we pick you over other candidates that are applying?
I applied on the website. us bank branch manager contacted me. i made appointment for the interview. i passed the interview. next interview is with district manager. but my first language is not English. so i failed the interview. but the interview is good experience.
Asked the appropriate questions. I felt comfortable and the manager was easy going and let his expectations be known. Make sure to ask a lot of questions about the position. My previous banking experience made it easier for me.
