Process is straightforward. Sign up take proficiency test in the subjects you're interested in. You need an 84% to pass but you get 2-3 hours and you can use other browsers during it. Then there's an interview which is just a test to be sure you speak English and know how to use a computer.

The interview process at Tutor.com was straightforward. First, I had to complete at least one subject exam that was on demand, which took me a few days. Once I passed, the rest of the process was smooth and simple, including setting up my profile and waiting for approval to start working.

It was a quick and easy interview process but the job description made it seem more intense than it actually was, which was relieving but also a little annoying because it was misleading.
