You take attest on the Internet. It's around 100 questions ; but if you look carefully it's the same questions reworded. They say you don't fail but you do ; so read the questions carefully! Lots of people fail the test ! If you pass you get called in for an interview. You talk to the director or asst director and take a tour of the school. If hired make sure you have all necessary paperwork. High school diplomas, college transcripts and diplomas, first aid cpr cards, and fingerprint card. TT is a pain when it comes for fingerprint cards if you don't have it you don't come back plus you now need a food handlers card. Photo copies ok. Plus TB test proof and shot record.
