The interview process started with an initial phone screening with the recruiter. After this, I spoke with a Claims Manager who asked more in-depth questions (STAR/BBI questions). I was then given 3 case studies. After I submitted my case studies, I was set up for an in-person interview (done over Zoom, as I am out of state). During the final interview stage, I spoke with two current claims employees, a cross-team employee (to gauge your overall fit into company culture), handled a more in-depth case study, then had a quick conversation with the hiring manager. My final interview was a few days ago, and I’m currently waiting to hear if I will receive an offer! They take the hiring process very seriously, as they want to ensure they bring on the best possible hires to fit in with the office culture.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you went above and beyond to provide the best possible customer service.
Spoke to rep over the phone first then moved on to in-person with 2 separate people. A bit intimidating but ok in the end. People I interviewed with ended up being my supervisor and director. Nice people

Turo has several interviews , HR, then manager over the phone. If you pass those two you come in for 4 additional in person interviews that takes 2 hours or longer.

Very detailed and lengthy. They want to insure that they hire the right people for the job. You start with 2 phone interviews, one from the recruiter, then a manager. You then do an assessment online involving claims scenarios. Then you go for an interview in person. This takes about two hours. You interview with a claims associate, a claims specialist, do another assessment, and then interview with the hiring manager.
This seems a very laid back work environment, but they take their work very seriously. It is a company that clearly cares about its employees and wants them to succeed. It also is a company that wants to make sure they hire the right people in a very thorough and involved process.
