J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez TubeMogul

      Entretien

One of the most worst and unprofessional interview I have ever had in my experience. I was interviewed by new graduate but he claimed that he was a leading the team. Initially my interview was scheduled for hour long but the guy who interviewed me told that we need to wind up in 20 minutes. So in 20 minutes i have given him a working solution to the problem and immediately after that he said it is Friday he wants to wind up things as he is still in office. With out even proper introduction he jumped in to the question directly and was quite surprised what would the team culture. If you want to have your friend or some known person in your team please don't waste time of others. I have 11 years of experience and I would definitely avoid this company in the future. Also advice others to be careful while applying for such companies.

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez TubeMogul (Emeryville, CA) en mai 2014

      Entretien

Their internal recruiter started off on a good foot. I was contacted due to particular experiences I had rather than as random spam. During the technical part of the interview they seemed enthusiastic about me coming to work for them. They said they would get back to me with next steps, but after over a week I still hadn't heard back from them. This was extremely disrespectful and I would not recommend anyone bother to interview with them. I suspect that the reason I was not asked back was the cultural question. I mentioned that I would not like to work in a place with a "frat boy programmer" culture, and that diversity and respect for women and intersectionality are very important to me. The interviewer seemed surprised by that answer, and I think it didn't sit well because most of the guys at the company know each other from college. I did not get the impression that they had a culture of respect and this would likely be a hostile place for women or minorities to work.
