APPLYING: Around 2 weeks after I applied at the company through LinkedIn, I got a call from the HR. She politely described the job role and the position. After saying yes to her 'are you interested in this role?', she shortlisted me for further rounds of the Interview process.
INTERVIEW ROUNDS: Before I could figure out whether I should prepare for the first round with the HR herself or for the second round with the senior level authorities, I was asked to be ready for a SKYPE interview with the Manager. Thrilled and very nervous me, had been anxiously waiting for the meeting, way before the scheduled time.
FINAL ROUND: Finally the manager called. Having prepared a lot on the daunting questions usually asked in an Interview, I was surely nervous but ready.
JOB OFFER: The GUY was nothing like I imagined. He was humble, comforting, and understanding, like an ideal manager should be. We had a nice casual talk about the role and dived deep into the company's history. It was mostly him talking than me answering. I tried to swoop in some basic questions to show my involvement in the conversation and prove that I keep the guts to ask questions (which hardly anybody does these days due to fear, perhaps). I think this quality of mine really convinced him to offer me this JOB.
