      Entretien

HR emailed me 10 days after I submitted my resume to setup a phone interview. At the end of the phone interview, I was asked to come in the following week for an in-person interview with the CFO and to shadow a couple people in the accounting department. I was also directed to take a Wonscore test in the meantime. Test went well. In person interview and shadow went well. Each side expressed what a great fit I was for the position. HR said they’d let me know in a week or two. They called me the next afternoon to offer me the job and emailed me the paperwork. I told them I’d look over the specifics that weekend and email Monday with any questions. After they responded on Monday to my emailed questions, they called me that afternoon to see if I had any further questions and to reiterate that this position wouldn’t be doing the same “level” of work as my last accounting job and half jokingly expressed concern that I was “too smart for them (Triple T).” I repeated my strong desire for the position and how great a fit it was going to be. They asked when to expect my answer. I told them I’d like to think over the new information they provided and asked if it would be fine to email my counter the next day or the following morning. They said that was fine. When I went to send my counter the following morning, I read an email from them stating “I wanted to reach out and let you know that we’ve had a change of plans with our accounting team. We had someone internal reach out yesterday who is interested in the “Billing Coordinator” position. Since it’s a current employee we are going to offer the individual the position.” They offered a job to someone that’s a great fit for the position, company, and department, only to renig on their offer and self-cannibalize to fill that position in a supposedly growing company... I was told they’d “…keep your resume on file for future consideration.” But, based on their opening offer (which was even lower than what I was first told it would be), I doubt they can afford to get this bad taste out of my mouth.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

I was asked pretty general interview questions. Nothing that stood out at all.
