1st Recruiter reached out to me giving details about the position and asking general questions about my experience.
2nd the team leader interviewed me and then I had a call with someone in the team pretending to be the hotel. (I have more experience in travel industry than the team leader - I have experience with B2B, a MBA, I have worked in amazing OTAs and got laid off due the Pandemic. No, I don’t think I am better than the team leader but I am so frustrated about the way he interviewed like he was competing with me.
The recruiter was polite and nice can’t say the same about the team leader the questions seemed to be more to know about how things were done in my previous companies than about my challenges in my work and my skills. I kept it professional and confidencial about the companies and thought very weird the way they conducted this. The call was fine tough. After my second round I didn’t receive an email saying unfortunately you are not a good fit or saying thank you for participating but unfortunately we have decided to move forward with other person. Is it hard to send an automatic email? I hate them but is better than nothing. All my thoughts about TripAdvisor went down in how unprofessional you are compared to such great companies in travel that I have worked. Shame! Shame! Shame! It was my first time applying to this company and for sure the last! I will go back to hospitality industry when travel gets back - people will travel again and better but I will never apply for this company again. I swear!!!!

Horrible process. They are very disorganized. It took forever to go through the process. The recruiter had to be reminded almost every day to do his job. The hiring manager was unclear about pay, the first red flag. Ultimately I was given an offer but the entire process took 7 weeks. Absurd!

It was ftom four parts, very pleasent. firts was informative, then a mock call (very professional and not hard), and after conversation with managers and director. After four days I have received a call and got the job

Entretien
Two of those that interviewed me were late for the interview, which is totally disrespectful. Interviewers were also interrupting all the time. Superficial questions that had nothing to do with the actual job.
