I first applied to FlipKey on Linkedin.com. I heard back form them via email and Iset up a phone interview. A couple days later they invited me to come in for an interview. They explained that I may be invited to come back in for a second interview. I was excited to hear back from them. After this second interview, they then said they would be in touch within about a week with a decision. I was nervous after that time period but shortly after they did follow up with me to apologize for a the delay. They invited me back for one final interview and not too long after that they offered me the position.
Needless to say it was a long and involved process but it showed me that they really take time to find the right fit for the position. At each interview, I was more intrigued by the position and more exited about the company. Each person I met with was very welcoming and informative.
Overall though, I was very pleased with the interview process and several months later, I am very happy with my position here! I would highly recommend the company to anyone consider ing applying to FlipKey.

Initially, I had a phone call with basic questions going over my education and work experience (explaining why you chose your major, going through previous duties in prior positions). They went over the benefits of working there and really sold the company. Then you were able to ask any questions you had.
An in office interview was next where I met with 3 people. All three were very friendly and it was extremely casual. They showed me around the office, which was a very spacious and laid back environment.

I had a phone interview which lasted about 20 minutes. A week or so later, I was emailed to come in for an in-person interview. During this interview I met with three different FlipKey employees/managers. After the initial in-person interview, I was emailed to do a few writing samples. I was then asked to come in for a 2nd in-person interview, in which I met with the same three people. About two weeks later, I was given an offer over the phone.

I had a first interview at the beginning of August. This eventually led to 2 more phone interviews and then an in-office interview with 3 people in mid September. The process took a lot longer than expected. After my in-office interview they told me I would hear back that next week and if I did not then I should email them ASAP. I did so and they (again) postponed until the next week. I was then informed that I did not get the offer. Keeping someone waiting that long is unprofessional.
