I heard about an opening in activities. After volunteering, getting to know the staff and the residents, I jumped on the opportunity. I filled out an online application, I reviewed what possible scheduling would look like with management, talked about policies, and was asked about my experience and skills. The following week I was send some emails inquiring about background check info and job references.

Bobbie took me back to her office, told me about the job and how it is and was very sweet and comforting! She told me how the company is and how much care there is in the job, it was great!

Entretien
Absolutely wonderful process. Was able to sit and chat with the Activities Director, then job shadowed another assistant throughout an activity, got to see a lot of the building, and got to meet with the Executive Director.

I was greeted and then escorted to an office. Kate asked me about myself, went over the interview questions in the packet, and asked if I had any questions of my own. I was then asked to let them know if I was interested in a job shadow.
