I interviewed for a Designer position at Trello, participating (remotely) in 6 interviews and 1 assignment spread across 2 months. The final interview was a quick conversation with the CEO, where I got the feeling a decision had already been made. I didn't receive an offer. Everyone I spoke with individually couldn't have been nicer, but the process itself seemed disorganized (from my view on the outside). After nearly every step in the process, I was left to wonder for days what would happen next. More often than not, I wouldn't hear anything until I followed up. And though we scheduled an afternoon for me to complete the assignment, somehow the process got mixed up and they forgot to send it to me, leaving me to track down the information before everyone signed off for the night. In the end, I did receive the information, and was left to complete the assignment on a shortened timeline. Again, everyone individually was very kind and a pleasure to talk with. But the process left me feeling like there's little recognition on the Trello side for the time invested by the interviewee. After 2 months of interviews and assignments, to only to be left with a short email saying "no feedback will be provided" seems a little off. Anyway, that was the experience. Both good and bad.
