Smooth so far... the usual hiring process, resume, video interview, etc. after that 2 in person events, the bad part is you have to travel on your own covering all your expenses and the events are in 2 far away places from eachother.

One of the toughest interview processes in the world in my opinion. There is a screening and 2 week training/still an interview, if you have experience with bike mechanics that helps.

Fairly extensive process.
-multi document application
-video interview
-invitation to training/hiring event
*a several day event with a major focus on interpersonal skills, problem solving, guaging ability to preform under stress... and a little bit of bike training ;)
-the majority of individuals in my training/hiring class did not make it through to the end.
After completing the event I was offered a position and happily guided bicycle trips in Europe for several years with the company.

Question 1
The entire multi-day event was full of questions. Most of them were simply geared to see how you would tactfully respond while in a social or stressful setting.

The interview process is intense, very selective and very interesting and fun. I was impressed. This looks like a great company to work for! The people who worked and the trainers that worked in the recruitment process are all great individuals with a lot of good and fun energy! In general the climate is very welcoming and positive and the job seems challenging but also rewarding.
