HR reached out to me and after a short screening call, they let me know that they wanted to schedule interviews. There were 4 interviews: one with hiring manager, one with someone on the development team, one with a director on the strategy team and a peer. The hiring manager asked mostly behavior/personality/fit questions. Mostly strength, weakness, what I'm looking for, why I want to be in strategy. Market dev asked me what I knew about the industry, so it's probably best if you read up on the industry that the strategy team is part of. The director asked me 2 case interview questions. 1 was pricing. How I would price a lawnmower in x country. The second was whether I would penetrate x market if I had the power to make the decision. The peer interview was when I got to talk to another analyst that works in strategy. They asked if I had experience in excel, PowerPoint, etc. I got to ask them really specific questions about the job, which was nice.
