The recruiter contacted me via email to set up a telephone interview. The first time he postponed because he was too busy; second time because he wasn't feeling well...on the third time he said he had called but the call went straight to voice mail. I had been sitting at my desk with my phone for two hours, so I knew he was not telling the truth. He said something about the phone system malfunctioning. When I emailed back to ask if he wanted to reschedule, I received no response. Did I miss something? Was this a game to see if I would call him, even thought he clearly stated he would call? I don't think it was very professional and does not speak well of the company.
