I received a phone call from the hiring manager and interviewed for the position over the phone for about 1 hour. I was invited for a face to face meeting for the following week. I had described my experience very thoroughly over the phone. After flying into Dallas, I met with the team for lunch and had formal introductions. We then went to the office for a group interview. After a barrage of questions/answers, I find out that they required more programming experience than I had. We had covered this subject during the phone interview, so why bring me in for further review if this is a concern?
