The interview process was extremely easy. In my case all I had to do was fill out the app and have an interview on the spot which consisted of me smiling and laughing a lot and saying how great I am with people. In knowing this, I can now see why so many people that work at TJ's have drug problems, character issues and even honesty issues. These people eventually work their way up the ladder and become your bosses. You will roll your eyes and wonder how they ever got there but I've just told you this so keep it in mind. The day will come when you question how the place even runs and then you will realize that it is the awesome crew members that are doing everything while the lame ones sit back and get paid for nothing.
I had 3 separate interviews. 1 was over the phone. 2 were in person. I never heard anything after the third interview. I called the store about a week later and they let me know they didn’t actually have any available positions. Really felt like they wasted my time.

Entretien
Casual, took place outside of the store. First I had a phone call interview. Then another which was in-person with 2 of the mates in the store, and finally a third in-person with the captain of the store.

What was something I did for a friend that was above and beyond?
Different questions than I have experienced in past job interviews, but seem to be their traditional hiring questions. They want to make sure they are hiring sociable people more so than just someone that can do the job.
