I was applying for an internal job posting so I had to submit my application to HR with the approval of my manager. I first discussed with my manager what the position entailed (he had been in a similar position before). I then met with several senior leaders who would I would be responsible to in the position. I was given the opportunity to visit the branch location where I would be working and experience the team there first-hand. It was a very constructive interview experience.
