The interview was one of the worst in-person/panel interviews I've ever been through. The main interviewer started yawning in my face while we were shaking hands during the initial greet, and didn't stop yawning and/or nodding off during the entire process. The rest of the interview team spent most of the interview either on their laptops or phones, not engaging with me (you know, the interviewee), showing each other things and giggling/whispering back and forth. At one point, an interviewer asked a question and during my response answered her phone and walked out of the interview room. Most of the experience related questions focused on NOT my relevant experience, but only my most recent experience, despite my many attempts to point out my related experience from only 1 job ago. To confirm this, on my way out of the door the main interviewer remarked that he was looking for "someone with experience managing a 100K sq ft facility", which is exactly what I had spent the past couple of years prior to my recent experience doing. I was informed by the recruiter that I would be notified of the decision either way within the next 4-5 weeks, but I never heard from anyone. I've sent 3-4 emails to the recruiter asking some questions about the process and inquiring about my status and have never heard anything back, even though there were assurances that "all emails with questions will be answered". Given that they've opened their doors at the location I was applying at this point, I guess they found the candidate they were looking for; probably prior to my interview, which is why it was such a throwaway, unprofessional experience.
