Interview process was initially positive but ultimately disappointing from a candidate experience perspective. The process consisted of a recruiter screening, interview with the current role holder, and a further interview with the hiring manager. Communication around scheduling was often very last minute, with requests for near-immediate availability for interviews. The conversations themselves were generally positive and engaging, and I appreciated the openness and transparency during discussions about the role and business. However, after progressing through multiple stages and investing significant time into preparation and interviews, I received a generic rejection email stating they were moving forward with other candidates due to a “competitive process”. After requesting additional feedback multiple times from both the recruiter and hiring manager, I received no response. I fully appreciate companies are busy and that not every candidate can progress, but after several rounds of interviews, I would have expected a more professional close to the process and at least some constructive feedback for candidates who invested substantial time and effort.
