Reached at the scheduled time. The process started about 40 minutes. 1st interviewer: She came in, asked a few programming questions. Answered all the asked questions except the code for Tower of Hanoi. Though it’s a SDET position, no question even remotely related to testing was there. 2nd interviewer: He came in, asked me status codes for 5xx and 4xx error. Asked me about the test framework that I had created and the application’s architecture. I was interviewing for a Lead SDET position with around 7years of experience. No question related to testing was asked. The questions in the 2nd round were neither related to senior position nor to SDET. The HR came up to me and said you are rejected because you have no experience in performance testing, even though Performance Testing requirement was not mentioned in the JD and was not even specified by the HR. Still waiting for a feedback.
