I was contacted by a recruiter, Aaron about the open position. He contacted me for my CV and we scheduled an initial phone call. During the phone call Aaron took time to explain the product to me in detail. He also explained the role and team I would be joining. He was genuinely friendly, supportive and dedicated to me finding the job. The first stage is an hour coding test. I was given an object class that was a representation of some json data. They asked me to write code to show how you would get a particular object. The second round was another coding test about about getting a value from an array given particular constraints. I failed this round. During this round the interviewer was doing something on a separate screen. I think in hindsight they were probably taking notes but I feel it is important to communicate this at the beginning of the interview. The third interview was a 30 cultural fit test. They asked me about my CV and some behavioural questions.
