The virtual interview process is lengthy. 5 total calls, the first 2 are with recruiters. The next two would be for your area Manager, the last one is with the Regional VP of Sales. The recruiters were great, standard intro calls and they're helpful with prepping you for your interviews with your potential manager. When interviewing with your manager the first call (3rd total) you're asked to put together a 2-3 minute pitch on one of their products and answer typical interview questions. You'll receive feedback on your pitch and if you move on to the next interview, they then have you re-pitch the product as well as perform a restaurant analysis for a local restaurant in your potential territory as well as provide how you will be targeting your market in the first 90 days. This is to be presented in a PowerPoint presentation and you're allocated 45 minutes for this. This is where my issue was, they ask that you find a restaurant that is not a Toast client. They have you do the work, before you are hired. When you're not selected, they now have received free pitches as well as market analysis. I easily spent over 12 hours in preparation of these interviews so the time commitment was frustrating.
