Overall, I would say this interview (and application process) was actually pretty unusual. I started out by submitting my application online to 3 locations closest to me, but I ended up getting a call from a different location which was a little further away for an interview about 2 weeks later. I scheduled my interview for the next day at 3pm, and I arrived a few minutes early. The manager started out by calling me the wrong name when he greeted me, and after I corrected him he said 'eh, one of the two'. After this, he told me to sit down and wait a couple minutes, so I did and he was out with my online application printed out quite fast. He started by asking me what school I went to, what grade I was in, and what electives I was taking. After this, he asked me what my plans were in the next 5-10 years, and this is when it started getting a little strange. All he would do was talk about himself. Not listen to what I had to say, not respond to my answers, but tell me how his son's football team had just gotten back from a trip, what his sister's job was, or what university HE had gone to. I just went with it of course, and I kept my smile on even when he would cut me off half way through my answer. He asked me no behavioural questions whatsoever. At the end of the interview he said that he was going to finish interviewing other candidates and that I would be hearing him Wednesday after school (the interview was on a Monday). He ended up calling me Wednesday, and offered me the job! I have orientation on Tuesday after school. :)
