The process consists of a total of 5 interviews with a mix of phone, video, and on-site. I reached the 4th interview, on-site followed by a video call with the COO. The first 2 were extremely casual, just barely discussing full qualifications. The third started to get into the qualifications and traditional interview questions. They asked me to describe what the company does, which I had never had someone do this, and it was a bit jarring as I am a hands-on learner rather than someone who can just study the website or notes from previous calls. After the 4th interview, I received an email stating, "we’re prioritizing candidates who have recently led high-velocity, enterprise implementations end-to-end—driving stakeholder accountability, managing complex deliverables (integrations/data migration, workshops, go-live/hypercare) —we won’t be moving forward for this role". This was absolutely devasting to receive as I still feel that I would have been an excellent member on this team. There was no mention of recent high-velocity, enterprise implementations end-to-end experience being a need during any of the 4 interviews, so I was blindsided by this statement. It seems like a great place to work, and I will continue to wonder why I made it to a 4th interview (over a period of 4 weeks) when I was never qualified.
