Got an interview when the recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn.
First round with the recruiter went well.
Second round with the hiring manager. He asked me about my experience and it was like a conversation. He did not sound excited or enthusiastic at all but sounded very cold. I was told the next round will be a technical round.
I had to follow up twice to get this scheduled.
Third round with an SE. He was pretty good to talk and felt welcoming. He asked about my experience and technical role related questions.
After this round, everyone went dark on me. I had to follow up thrice to get an answer which was a no because they felt I need more experience.
Overall interview process seemed pretty broken for a 8-9 years old company. Had to do multiple follow ups every time to get an answer or hear the next steps.

9 step deep technical interview process. Be prepared to give more time than your regular job and life require. I answered the these and more well and passed the technical interview but still did not get the chance to proceed.

This was easily the worst interview experience I've ever had. After I applied for the job, I was contacted to come for an onsite interview. Even without a phone screen first, which was a red flag but I ignored it.
When I traveled to their office, the person I was supposed to speak to wasn't in the office, and did not inform anyone else I would be coming onsite. His coworkers scrambled to make the best of the situation and arranged for two people to talk to me. None of these people were familiar with my resume or skillset, and it turns out it did not line up with their expectations at all.
Usually I don't write reviews for interviews like this, but this experience was absurd.
