Applied online. Received an email some days later to arrange an 'screen call'/phone interview, and subsequently agreed on a time. After half an hour of waiting, I telephoned the recruiter who claimed they wrote down a different time (hours later that same day) in their diary - despite sending me a confirmation email stating the time I was expecting.
We all make mistakes, so I agreed to have the interview later that day. Literally one minute before, I get an email from this person saying they can't do it, and can we arrange another time next week. I was so unimpressed by this point I replied saying I was withdrawing my offer, which received no apology or response. Overall, seemed like they were supremely unbothered, and I would not want to work for a company who makes literally no effort with potential employees.

Dont let them trick you into thinking this is an actual research position. You will be cold calling people most of your day. The interview process is relatively simple, first spoke with a recruiter who passed me onto an in-person round. I never heard from them after that.

Question 1
Given this case industry, what types of industry experts would you contact on behalf of a client who is looking to invest in a company within that sector.
Had an interview for Forum role in Hongkong. Straightforward interview. The recruiter was very pleasant and nice, she was very professional. Prepare for your understanding of the role, although she was very nice in explaining the role in details, you knew it’s a major concern if you have no idea about the position youre applying. She also provides transparent feedback which I really appreciates. Not all companies or recruiters do the same. I always see this recruiter in job fairs and she’s overall nice and very accommodating. I would recommend trying an interview as it will change your perspective about the company and the role.
