      I am writing to share my deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with the interview process at Thermo Fisher. After a long application process and multiple interviews, I encountered several significant issues that made the entire experience chaotic and unprofessional. Disorganization and Poor Communication: The process was marked by disorganization from the start. Interviews were frequently rescheduled or canceled, leading to a lack of clarity and consistency. I had one panelist cancel at the last minute, and despite requesting updates and guidance from HR, I received no response. This lack of communication and respect for candidates' time is unacceptable. Unprofessional Behavior: The hiring manager was late to the interview and appeared disengaged. Their lack of preparation and professionalism was concerning. Throughout the process, I experienced ghosting and gaslighting from HR, with long delays between communications. The final decision was communicated to me via voicemail from a California number after business hours, which was both unprofessional and inconvenient. Referral Disregarded: Despite having a referral and extensive experience, the process felt like a formality. I was informed that an internal candidate was favored, which seems to be a recurring pattern based on feedback I've received. The interview process, including lengthy discussions and extensive preparation for thank-you notes, seemed to be a mere formality when internal candidates were given priority. Personal Impact: This entire experience took a significant emotional and professional toll. The lack of transparency and respect for candidates’ time and efforts was deeply frustrating. I have been unemployed for over a year and found this process to be a waste of valuable time and energy. Suggestions for Improvement: Thermo Fisher needs to overhaul their interview process to address these issues. Improved communication, adherence to schedules, and respect for candidates are crucial. The process should be more transparent and organized to avoid wasting candidates' time and to maintain a professional standard. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and encourages the company to improve its hiring practices. If you experience similar red flags, such as poor communication, disorganization, or a lack of respect, I advise you to consider these as serious warning signs. Protect your time and energy, and don't hesitate to withdraw from processes that exhibit these issues. Has anyone else experienced similar problems during their application or interview process?       Missleading, inaccurate, not realistic. promised everything and delivered nothing. Very sad I was so hopeful and happy to try and have a career there but it was a was of time and so much stress.

      It was a terrible interview process. Made me do several rounds of interviews with a constant rotation of recruiters. Incredibly unprofessional with no updates for months. Only decided to close my application when I followed up. One of the interviewers was also incredibly negative about his experience at Thermofisher Scientific, often commenting, "people here aren't future-forward thinking". This is bureaucracy at its finest, and I would recommend anyone applying to Thermofisher Scientific to have a 10-foot pole distance from them. They will make you go through a roller coaster for nothing.
