      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Thermo Fisher Scientific (York, PA) en juin 2017

      Entretien

      i applied via linkedin through a "promoted" listing. i was pleasantly surprised when i was contacted rather quickly by the outside recruiter on the role. she passed me on to her contact within the organization, an HR rep within the organization . i was set up with a proverbial phone screen about a week later. i found the HR rep to be quite monolithic and almost robotic in tone and mannerisms. the HR rep was very impersonal, almost bordering on being irritating to converse with. upon further review of their linkedin profile, i discovered this rep had not been in the role even a year yet. and it showed immensely. i received little to no feedback in regards to the outside recruiter managing this role either with the exception that the HR rep stated that: "...he was a bit too relaxed in the interview, almost bordering on being unprofessional..." are you kidding me? in any case, i was passed along to the corporate head of HR for the second phase of the interview process. all i can say is that he called 10 mins late, did not apologize, and was very curt in the interview. all of these actions/mannerisms, to me, are big red flags as to the company culture, specifically, the manufacturing culture at thermo fisher. its no small wonder they are having trouble maintaining an adequate workforce at their PA location. if the interview experiences are any indication of the climate in this company ill take a pass. oh, i never heard back from the company in regards to the status of my interview. so there's that. and in regards to being "unprofessional" not getting back to potential candidates is very unprofessional, as in calling late for an interview 1o mins late, is unprofessional, and not being concise in the process is "unprofessional."
