To fully understand the situation I need to include that I was relocating to this area and had applied for a few jobs. I had previously worked for the actual UPS and did all of the duties required at every Ups Store. When i put my application in a little after 6 am. I received a call from the new owner at about 6:15 am. Yes 15 minutes later and she was way too excited to hire me based on my previous experience. It was her overzealous nature that allowed me to ask for a lot more per hour and got it. Every Ups Store is privately owned, so your experience may differ

They ask a lot about situations with customers, and what you would do. Reply with empathy and understanding when it comes to an angry customer as that’s what’s important in customer service. They also asked how you handle a rush, answer that you don’t get overwhelmed and it’s important to you to keep a level head.

The process was fairly straightforward. I had an initial interview over the phone followed by a second interview in person. They asked me about my qualifications and gave me an overview of the position.

Do you have any experience in high pressure situations?
Online video interview that lasted under 15 minutes. The interviewer as easy going and gave time to answer questions. It was simple enough to where I felt good afterwards. The questions were all expected as I prepared before hand.
