Entretien
In total the interview took about 3+ weeks from the time they reached out to schedule an initial phone interview. From there I did one more phone interview, was given 3 days to complete a design assignment, and had an in-person interview with 7 people from the marketing team (totaling about 3 hrs).

Question 1
In general I'd say the interview process felt very personable. While they had some scripted questions, much of it was very conversational and customized around my background experience. One question in particular that comes to mind that they ask is (and what most companies ask) is "Why The Trade Desk? What's your interest is working with us?"

Entretien
I recached out to the hiring manager on LinkedIn, submitted my resume online, had a friend who works there recommend me and got selected for a phone screen with a recruiter. A week later I interviewed with the hiring manager, also on the phone. Each was only 30 minutes and I was prepared to talk for an hour or so. Thought it went well with the hiring manager saying they "definitely wanted to pursue next steps".
A week passed and I received no communication. I emailed the recruiter and hiring manager at that point. Then I saw the job had been reposted and now it was also sponsored – probably not a good sign. I heard back from the hiring manager a few days later that they were still in the process of interviewing other candidates. I called the recruiter a week after asking for feedback and she told me the position was closed, that they have been recruiting for it for a long time – but they received 25 new applications (LinkedIn premium data) from the re-posed ad so I'm left wondering what the real reason was.
Interview with hiring manager was overall more about personal design/style and I was more prepared to speak to experience producing results-driven creative. My friend who works there prepped me on how important their culture is and I probably put too much focus on that even though it's very important to them.
