Received a call for a phone interview a few days after applying, then met with the HR Director Ruth D’ Franco and Director of Sales for the interview. They also had me fill out a paper application form w/ my references. The interview went pretty well and had a natural flow of conversation so I thought I had a chance. I sent a thank you e-mail, didn’t hear back. I sent a follow-up e-mail a week later, still no response. I believe they may have given the position to someone internally, and I was pretty much ghosted. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and a big let down given the hotel’s good reputation. If you interview someone in person, at least take a minute out of your day to reply to an e-mail or call the candidate to reject them.
