I recently went through a lengthy interview process for a senior marketing role, which included multiple stages and a significant presentation task requiring the development of a full marketing strategy.
While I appreciated the opportunity to meet the team and found the conversations engaging, I was disappointed by the lack of communication following the final interview stage. After investing considerable time and effort into preparing a strategic presentation, I did not receive any update or closure regarding the outcome despite following up.
Clear communication and timely feedback go a long way in reflecting a company’s culture and professionalism.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as there is clearly an opportunity to improve the experience for future candidates.
