Since I was previously employed at the store, they were quite anxious for me to return. The interview was more of a formality and an opportunity for the new Specialty Sales Assistant Manager to meet me. The store is however operating on a skeleton crew, so there was a month wait for a position to become open,

If a manager has asked you to perform a given task, and a customer needs help in another department, and you are currently already performing a duty in your own department, what would you do, in what order and why?
It went by very smoothly. They needed an employee who was good in the technical area, so I applied and was hired the same week. Overall it was the fastest interview i've ever had.

They asked about my previous experience, and if I had a flexible schedule. Home Depot likes flexible scedules
It was quick and easy. They just asked simple questions throughout the process. They tell you right then and there if you got the job or not. The people are very friendly as well.
